Marketing Assistant

Overview:
πŸ“ We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Marketing Assistant to support our growing marketing initiatives. In this role, you will help with campaign management, content production, SEO efforts, database maintenance, and general marketing administration. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, ensuring our outreach and content projects run smoothly and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Campaign Management
✍️ Automated Campaign Setup: Assist in setting up and managing the ongoing outbound multi-pronged campaigns, ensuring each step is executed properly.
✍️ Lead Database Maintenance: Maintain and update lead databases (e.g., Apollo, Smartleads, Clay) to ensure accurate, verified information for outreach.
✍️ Database Expansion: Add new records weekly, verify email addresses, format company names, and include personalised details to minimize bounce rates.
✍️ Tool Coordination: Prepare and send updated databases to our outsourced provider in the required format in order to execute a step in the process

2. Content Production
✍️ Social Media Scheduling: Schedule and post weekly LinkedIn content to drive visibility and consistency.
✍️ Content Frequency: Collaborate to increase posting frequency (from twice a month to at least four times a week) and ensure messaging aligns with brand guidelines.

3. SEO Blogs and In-House Blogs
✍️ Blog Production Support: Assist with researching, drafting, editing, and publishing both in-house and SEO-focused blog articles using tools like Chat GPT
✍️ SEO Compliance: Work with writing tools and best practices to include relevant keywords, meta data, and ensure content follows SEO guidelines.
✍️ Content Briefs: Help create two content briefs per week to guide internal writing and optimize topics for SEO.
✍️ Blog Creation: Assist in producing two SEO blog posts per week, including uploading them to the website and any relevant platforms.

4. Design Assistance
✍️ Marketing Collateral: Support the creation of marketing materials such as email templates, PowerPoint presentations, website banners, LinkedIn graphics, and blog visuals.

5. Brand Awareness & Research
✍️ Brand Development: Conduct initial research for award nominations, partnerships, and other branding opportunities that can help increase visibility.

6. General Marketing Administration
✍️ Performance Tracking: Track and report on campaign performance to measure effectiveness and drive improvements.
✍️ Asset Organization: Organize and maintain marketing assets and documentation for easy access and reuse.
✍️ Backlink Outreach & Content: Coordinate backlink outreach efforts and support the creation of content specifically for link-building initiatives.

Qualifications:
πŸ“‹ Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
πŸ“‹ Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple tasks.
πŸ“‹ Familiarity with social media platforms (especially LinkedIn) and SEO principles.
πŸ“‹ Excellent writing and editing skills; experience with blog or article writing a plus.
πŸ“‹ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel) and familiarity with tools like Apollo or CRM databases is beneficial.
πŸ“‹ Basic graphic design skills (e.g., Canva or Adobe Creative Suite) a plus.

What We’re Looking For:

SEO & Content Production:
πŸ“‹ Ability to assist with SEO blog creation, keyword research, and content scheduling.
πŸ“‹ Experience with tools like Google Analytics, SEMrush, or Ahrefs would be a plus.

Campaign Management & Automation:
πŸ“‹ Hands-on experience managing email marketing campaigns, ideally using tools like HubSpot, Apollo, or Smartleads.
πŸ“‹ Understanding of database maintenance and data formatting for outreach campaigns.

Social Media Management (But Not Just That):
πŸ“‹ While social media experience is great, we’re looking for someone who can handle a wider marketing scope, including performance tracking and reporting.

Marketing Administration & Performance Tracking:
πŸ“‹ Comfortable working with spreadsheets, reporting tools, and campaign tracking.
πŸ“‹ Experience in coordinating content briefs, preparing marketing collateral, and organizing assets.
