Responsibilities:
✅ Providing fixes to existing sites/functionality.
✅ Ability to understand/interpret a client brief.
✅ Provide quotes for time and plugins/extra software required to complete the job.
✅ Assist the front-end developers with extra functionalities beyond the developer’s limitations of knowledge/skills.
✅ Troubleshooting bug fixes (errors caused by clients, errors caused by software/coding issues and email SMTP settings).
✅ Self-testing of work to ensure quality standards are met, and cross browser/device compatibility.
✅ Use of ticket system, and internal tracking systems throughout the day.
✅ Recording loom videos explaining and demonstrating their work is completed and correct.
✅ Reporting and checking in with the supervisor to provide timeframes on work to be completed, and ability to adapt to priorities of work.

Qualifications:
✅ Coding from scratch in HTML/PHP Laravel.
✅ Experience with GitHub/bitbucket/version control.
✅ Integrating 3rd party apps/systems into websites, i.e., Mail Chimp, booking systems, calendars, payment methods, shipping methods, social media, font icons, google fonts, google analytics, etc.
✅ Ability to code html/CSS from scratch or customize existing framework.
✅ Ability to edit using text editor – i.e., sublime text, or similar.
✅ Knowledge of increasing site speed and performance (minify, cache, resize images, etc.).
✅ Basic understanding of SEO techniques, online security.
✅ DNS, Cloudflare experience handy.
✅ Knowledge of WordPress page builders, element or, Divi, site origin, Gutenberg systems exposure.
✅ Coding languages – PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Laravel.
✅ Strong in HTML/PHP/JS/jQuery.
✅ Knows way around MySQL database.
✅ CMS systems such as – WordPress, OpenCart, Duda, Shopify, CMS Made Simple ability.
✅ Minimum 1 – 3 years’ experience.
✅ Can do attitude Problem solving and Solution promoting.
✅ Adaptability and can work alone and find solutions to problems via own resources.
