Job Description
The client is looking for a detail-oriented Offshore Bookkeeper to support our day-to-day financial operations. You will work closely with our Management Accountant, taking ownership of transactional finance tasks and ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and strong financial hygiene across the business. This role is critical in freeing up our Management Accountant to focus on
higher-value financial analysis, reporting, and strategic support.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounts Receivable
- Issue invoices to customers.
- Track customer payments and reconcile receipts.
- Follow up outstanding payments (email/SMS/calls where required).
- Maintain accurate debtor records.
Accounts Payable (AP)
- Process supplier invoices and ensure correct coding.
- Prepare and manage payment runs.
- Reconcile supplier statements.
- Manage installer and supplier payments.
Bank & System Reconciliation
- Daily/weekly bank reconciliations.
- Reconcile payment platforms and finance providers.
- Maintain clean and up-to-date Xero records.
Data Entry & Financial Hygiene
- Accurate entry of all financial transactions into Xero.
- Maintain chart of accounts integrity.
- Assist with job-level cost tracking (solar installs).
Support for Management Accountant
- Prepare weekly AR/AP reports
- Assist with month-end close (reconciliations, data prep).
- Provide clean, reliable data for reporting.
- Flag anomalies or issues proactively.
Qualifications & Experience
- 2+ years bookkeeping experience (preferably offshore for AU/US/UK clients).
- Strong experience with Xero (essential).
- Understanding of AR/AP processes.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong English communication skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, growing business.
- Willing to work on-site in Clark, Pampanga.
Bonus: - Experience in solar, construction, or project-based businesses.
- Experience with CRM or job management systems.
